A brand new night in Maribor importing the finest breakbeat and electro DJ’s from the UK.
For the first Import party, Dave Martin is flying in from Leeds, England.
One of the finest breakz DJs in England, Dave has been running the almost legendary Technique night in Leeds for seven years, is the boss of Immigrant Industries record label and has just got back from touring America. He’s played all over the world with all the biggest names in the breakz scene. In short, he knows how to rock a party. And he’s coming to Maribor!
Also importing breakbeat bombs through customs will be LuckyRok, a pair of breakz DJ’s, one from London, one from Maribor. These two met in Slovenia and have been rocking Maribor ever since.
Completing the lineup in the main room is Alexander, also from Leeds, England, and playing at Pekarna for the first time, but he’s been DJing for longer than he probably cares to remember.
And if that’s not enough, there’ll also be live percussion from Blaz, visuals by VJ Inocybe and a Funky Elephant in a small house.
All this is being brought to you by two fine English gentlemen who used to do this in London and Leeds, but have both somehow ended up in Maribor and want to do the same thing over here in Slovenia. Why? Because we love it here.
