Hyper:
By helping to pioneer a style that has now become the dominant global club sound with the Y3K & Bedrock Breaks compilations a few years back, plus his own double mix comp Wired in 2004, and the creation of the super cool Waxworks Promo Company, Hyper has secured himself a place amongst the top musical players. His confidence is transparent in everything he does from the running of his label Kilowatt, his growing list of high-end remixes (Timo Maas, The Hives, A-ha, BT, Pink, Sugababes, Paul Van Dyk,) and his continuous touring.
The process of recording ‘We Control’ has lead to the formation of Hyper, the band. Joining Hyper (Guy Hatfield) and production partner Ronnie in collaborations on this record are Leeroy Thronhill (ex Prodigy), Wildchild (LA rapper), US Breakbeat superstars The Crystal Method, Jim Davies (Pitchshifter / The Prodigy), Dirty Harry (infamous UK rock chick and Tommy Lee collaborator), MC Xander and Kieron Pepper (The Prodigy)
This years will see LIVE shows again in London for Breakspoll (recorded for Radio 1) Fabric, Cargo and trips to Japan, China, Australia and the many European Festivals including V Festival, Dour Belgium, Roskilde Denmark, The Glade UK and many more in summer 2006. (www.djhyper.com)
Jonty Skrufff:
Just over 2 years after he launched his DJ career at uber-cool London club Golf Sale, Jonty Skrufff has established himself as a leading player on the global alternative electro scene, spinning dirty rocking electro-disco-tech everywhere from Brazil (Amp Galaxy/ Dama de Ferro) to China (Volar), Berlin (Rio/ Ruder, King Kong Club, Sage Club) and beyond (Croatia, Serbia, Israel, Czech Republic, Ukraine and Japan). A regular guest at many of London’s coolest cutting edge mixed clubs (including Trailer Trash, Torture Garden, Collapsing New People and mad tranny fetish institution Kaos) he’s also DJed at London superclubs Ministry Of Sound, Heaven, Turnmills and Fabric, where he held a 9 month residency in 2006 at Sunday night polysexual insitution DTPM. Alex Metric:
In 2006 he was nominated as breakthrough producer at the Breakspoll awards and Dj’s accross the board have begun to sit up and take notice of Alex’s productions including Adam Freeland, James Holden, Laurent Garnier, Pete Tong, Meat Katie, James Zabiela and MANDY. Releases have come thick and fast on a wide range of labels including Underwater, Fourtwenty, Marine Parade and Lot49. As his productions have become more assured so have the range of influences he brings into his music.
