No Kangaroos here!…If you hear of Austria electronic music your first thought might be the chilling, tripping funky downbeat of Kruder and Dorfmeister, Vienna Scientists or Madrid de los Austria. But as in other countries around the world, there are many different scenes besides the dance-tourist might picture himself. But as always there is more to discover if you go a little deeper and beyond!!!
Yesterday is memory. Wolfgang Fischer better known as DJ Observer is one talented Trance/Progressive DJ who already has been making a rising career since his first beginnings in 1994 at the Austrian Mainstream Discotheques “Nachtwerk” and “P1”. He sound found his path – or lets say style for uplifting melodies and his love for progressive beats through the days where Austrian (hard) Techno-Generation was growing stronger and stronger.
“Playing in front of 5000 party-people.you never forget that for sure” 2001 was definitively my year. I had my premiere at Berlin Love Parade at the “New Yorker truck”. The week before I played with Paul van Dyk at the Lovenation (Vienna Love Parade after-party)! “That was like Happy Easter and X-mas at the same time for me!”
His vision of club-sound for that time was cheerfully affirmed at the legendary parties of the “Dreamship-cruise” on the river Danube, and with roaring crowd rocking the boat DJ Observer with his trancy & pounding tunes became literally overnight a shooting-star in the local dance-family. With his first appearance at Austria´s biggest Techno-House Event “The Biosphere” (1998) with over 7000 Bionauts partying hard, took another big step in his DJ career, and it just took 2 important gigs to make “Obsi” one of the most popular DJ in Austria.
The official Mix-Compilation Biosphere Vol. 1 which lead to his residency at the Austrian Tour Biosphere Future Generation Tour shortly after and so did other releases
