VELIKI FESTIVAL ELEKTRONSKE GLASBE IN UMETNOSTI.

Als musikalische Highlights des Festivals scheinen dieses Jahr neben vielen anderen auf: die Drum’n’Bass-Legende Roni Size (zum ersten Mal in Österreich!), der Doyen des sophisticated Lounge Richard Dorfmeister und sein Fxxxed Up Dub-Project Tosca, das Urgestein des Hallfahnenwedelns Mad Professor, Electroclash-Hero Tiga, der Vorzeige-Soundbastler Howie B, die discolastigen Punk-Funker Munk, die soulige Version von Hip Hop in Form von I-Wolf, Electropunk-Berserker T.Raumschmiere, und zahlreiche weitere hochkarätige Acts von so stildefinierenden und innovativen Labels wie Kompakt (D), Fingerlickin´ (UK), Klein (A), und Ninja Tune (UK).
Zudem wird springfive durch das Symposium Re: modern, diverse VJ-Workshops und Lounge-Talks mit bekannten DJs und Artists, wie etwa Michael Mayer und Ralph H. Christoph, theoretisch geerdet.
Hier steht springfive ganz in der Tradition anderer internationaler Festivals, wo Sound nicht nur die Beine bewegt, sondern auch das Denken ankurbelt.

springfive, the biggest festival for electronic art and music in Austria, which celebrates its fifth years jubilee this spring, is going to transform Graz into a throbbing metropolis of vivid pop-culture from May 25th onwards. Just like its predecessors the fifth update of the spring festival stands for keeping the party cutting edge: International electronic top acts, superstar DJs, visual artists, clubculture pioneers and forerunners will rock Graz along with the local DJ offspring, new electro upstarts and underground heroes. Every relevant location of the city will be declared a sumptuous party zone.
This year’s musical highlights amongst many others include: Drum’n’Bass legend Roni Size who will play in Austria for the first time, the grandmaster of sophisticated lounge Richard Dorfmeister and his fxxxed up dub-project Tosca, the godfather of reverb Mad Professor, electroclash hero Tiga, the figurehead in advanced soundcraft Howie B, electropunk berserk T. Raumschmiere, and countless other top acts from style defining and innovative labels like Kompakt (D), Finger Lickin´ (UK), Klein (A) and Ninja Tune (UK).
Besides all this springfive will be theoretically accompanied by the symposium Re: modern, various VJ workshops and lounge talks with famous DJs and artists like Michael Mayer and Ralph H. Christoph. Here springfive stands within the tradition of other international festivals where sound does not only move your feet but also stimulates the thinking.
