Les SlovaKs Dance Collective je skupina petih neodvisnih energičnih plesalcev s Slovaške: Miòo Herich, Peter Jaško, Martin Kilvády, Anton Lachký in Milan Tomášik. Oblikujejo profesionalno plesno skupino, ki se osredotoča na učenje, ustvarjanje in nastopanje.
Les SlovaKs Dance Collective is a group of five independent energetic dancers from Slovakia: Miòo Herich, Peter Jaško, Martin Kilvády, Anton Lachký and Milan Tomášik. They form a professional dance group that focuses on learning, creating, and performing.
Martin Kilvady: plesal je v plesni skupini ROSAS ter z Robertom Olivanom, sedaj s Thomasom Hauertom.
Peter Jasko: plesal je z Robertom Olivanom ter z Gorgiom Barberiom Corsettijem, sedaj z Davidom Zambranom in s Sidijem Larbijem Cherkaouijem.
Anton Lachky: plesal je z Akramom Khanom in je že ustvaril nekaj koreografij: “Blue Moon” (Modra Luna), “Water in the Mind” (Voda v mislih) in “The Trip” (Potovanje).
Milan Herich: plesal je z Ultima Vez, sedaj z Davidom Zambranom in s Sidijem Larbijem Cherkaouijem.
Milan Tomásik: plesal je z Jackie Gray, Antonom Stavenuiterjem in Iztokom Kovacem; ustvaril je tudi različne koreografije, in sicer “Sapro-Agape” s plesno skupino DuWadance ter svoj lasten solo z naslovom “Within“ (Znotraj).

Milan, Peter, Anton in Milan so začeli plesati zelo zgodaj. Pri petih letih, še preden so se spoznali, so si delili oder na ljudskem festivalu „Vychodna“. Takrat ni nihče pričakoval, da bodo naslednjih dvajset let živeli enako življenje – enako izobrazbo, si delili sobo, se skupaj zabavali, uživali v istih igrah ter si delili celo tremo pred nastopi. Leta 2003 so se ločili, da bi si pridobili nove izkušnje, da bi raziskali obzorja umetnosti ter sodobni ples, ter da bi se potopili globlje. V septembru 2006 so ustanovili Les SlovaKs Dance Collective in se ponovno združili. Zdaj je cilj Les SlovaKs, da bi se spet našli. Za odločitvijo, da bodo delali skupaj, je bogata zgodovina. Kombinacija življenja in profesionalnih izkušenj prišata o vzhajajoči kakovosti dolgoročne vizije. Zato bi radi povabili vse, da se nam pridružijo in z nami delijo način gibanja ter kolektivnega mišljenja skupine “Les SlovaKs”.
Milan, Peter, Anton and Milan started dancing at a very early age. At the age of five, before even meeting each other, they shared the stage at the „Vychodna“ folk festival. At that time, nobody expected that during the next 20 years they would share the same life; education, room, fun, common games and stage frights. In 2003 they separated in order to gain new experiences, to further explore the horizons of art and contemporary dance and to go deeper into the caves of knowledge. In September 2006, the establishing year of Les SlovaKs Collective Dance Project, they regroup again.Now the goal of Les SlovaKs is to find themselves again. The decision to work together has a rich history. The combination of life and professional experiences talks about the emerging quality of long-term vision.For this, we would like to welcome everybody to join us and share “Les SlovaKs” way of moving and thinking in a collective way.
Plesna predstava Opening night je gostovala že v različnih evropskih državah. Je spektakel, ki nadaljuje evolucijo plesne koreografije preko notranjih izražanj plesne improvizacije.
The Opening Night dance show has been performed in several European countries. It is a spectacle that continues the evolution of dance choreography through internal expressions of dance improvisation.
