Discription of the play
Dawn – a shy, young girl with a speaking disorder – reads an ad in the newspaper about the UNAMUNDA-academy; lessons in ‘UNAMUNDA’, the language that is supposed to unite all humankind. Her stutter has created a disliking for her mother tongue – English – and so she decides to give UNAMUNDA a try. Arriving at the academy she notices she is the only candidate and the professor – Don – is an eccentric character with rather strange habits. Don and Dawn have troubles communicating in the beginning, but after a while they notice they speak ‘the same language’…
